This very short film presents a twist on the standard disclaimer that appears at the beginning of many television programs today.

Disclaimers are meant to serve notice to viewers that some parts of the program may not be suitable for all ages or sensitivities. But rather than steering certain viewers away from potentially offensive material, our culture has evolved to the point where the disclaimer feels more like a lure to entice viewers to actually watch the show.

At one time a television program containing sex, graphic violence and profanity was regarded as a risky business venture, but today these ingredients are considered a prerequisite for the successful financing of popular screen entertainment.

Don’t touch that remote!
