Diary of an Insomniac

As the title aptly denotes, this piece was written mostly in the middle of the night during a phase of chronic insomnia. I could either lie in bed staring at the ceiling or get up and make better use of my time.

During the recording of this composition one of the guitar pedals that we fed the clarinet through was Robin’s wah-wah pedal. Was this perhaps the world’s first (and only) wah-wah clarinet?
