Life Is But a Dream

I can’t remember why this piece is called Life Is But a Dream. It’s a line from Row, Row, Row Your Boat, but this composition has nothing to do with rowing boats. However it does have much in common with the dreamworld, musically speaking ……. the narrative is often far-fetched and freewheeling, things suddenly morph into other things for no apparent reason, and the musical landscapes are sometimes an amalgam of two different locations at the same time. Anything’s possible in dreamland and musicland.
